2nd Annual Running With The Beards RECAP

The second annual Running With The Beards was a day of brotherhood, beards, bibs, and brews...

And this year was a huge success!

Over 300 people put on a race bib and ran, walked, or strolled their way through the beautiful 5k course in Tempe, Arizona just a few minutes away from Live Bearded HQ.

We had brothers fly in from all over the country. Hawaii, Nebraska, Arkansas, California, Ohio, and many other states were represented!

Though we, of course, loved just hanging out with everyone, we gathered this day with a mission: to raise money and awareness for one of the best organizations we know, Phoenix Children's Hospital.

And with all of your support as a community, we collectively were able to raise $6,000 for PCH to continue their impactful work for families and children in need!

The fun didn't stop there, though...

After the "race", many people enjoyed some refreshments in the form of gatorade and water, and for some, an ice bath.

Then we made our way to one of the best breweries in the state, The Shop Beer Co.

The team at The Shop knows how to throw a party, and with their help, we had a killer afternoon lined up for everyone!

We enjoyed live music all afternoon and some of the best food in the valley thanks to Smokin' Hope, SALT Tacos, and Randizzle's burgers.

We had a beard competition with titles like "Girth Brooks"....

I mean, who wouldn't want to compete for a title like that!?

Not to mention some great company all day long.

We know not all of you will be able to travel to come to events we put on (though we hope you make the next one!).

But we do hope that us putting on an event like this to raise money to support our local community inspires you to get into yours to serve as well. Whether that means you attend an event, or just donate some of your time, there are a lot of ways you can get involved and we encourage you to do so.
