Standing Tall with Soldier’s Best Friend

At Live Bearded, we believe in showing up, giving back, and standing strong with those who’ve sacrificed so much for our freedom. On Saturday, March 15th, we had the incredible honor of attending and sponsoring the annual Soldier’s Best Friend Sporting Clay Event at the Ben Avery Clay Target Center in Phoenix. And let’s just say—it was more than just a day at the range.

From the early morning rounds to the final target, the event was packed with energy, connection, and purpose. With each clay shattered, we were reminded that this wasn’t just about sport—it was about support. Support for the veterans who’ve given their all, and for the service dogs who will go on to change their lives forever. The coolest part is one of the team here at Live bearded is a Veteran who is actively involved with the program and has an amazing service animal too.

Thanks to the collective effort of all who showed up, $72,720.97 was raised—every dollar going directly to provide life-changing services to veterans at no cost. That’s the kind of impact we’re proud to stand behind. Also can’t deny all the awesome beards that were out there from Soldiers like Lance and Emilio!

We want to extend a huge thank you to the team at Soldier’s Best Friend for allowing us to be a part of something truly special. Their mission to pair veterans living with combat-related PTSD or traumatic brain injuries with trained service or therapeutic companion dogs is something we deeply believe in.

We’ll absolutely be back next year—same place, same purpose, and hopefully even more support.

Until then, stay bearded, stay bold, and always stand by those who served.
