Trimming your beard is nerve-racking, to say the LEAST! Nothing is worse than losing months, or years of growth in an instant because of a bad barber, or at home mistake! Follow these 3 tips to eliminate most trimming mistakes...
1. The Bottom Line
This is the most common mistake you must avoid! Most guys trim their bottom line just below their jaw, and this is a HUGE mistake! Never trim at your jawline. Always trim your bottom line where your head and neck meet, just above your adam's apple.
2. The Top Line
For those of you who shave your top line, it's inevitable you'll trim one side lower than the other! This will happen and you're going to have to live with it until it grows back. We highly recommend trimming your top line as HIGH on your cheeks as possible. This gives your beard a bigger, fuller look.
3. Trimmed Too Much
Every beardsman knows how much time it takes to grow a beard, and it can be painful to trim too much! We highly recommend starting slow and trimming in stages. If you make a mistake or trim too much, put down the clippers/scissors and walk away! Then come back and finish at a later time.
There is no reason to overcomplicate beard care. Keep it simple, trim slow or find a good barber and use a few top quality products and you will grow a soft, healthy, respectable beard.
