How To Use Your Beard Comb & Why It’s Important

Those of you who have been bearded a while should already know the importance of a good quality beard comb. And if you don’t, shame on you.

A beard comb is absolutely critical for every Beardsman.

For the rookies out there: if you’re currently in the midst of growing your first real beard...well congratulations! You are well on your way to a better looking and more confident version of yourself! If you haven’t already noticed, you’ll soon be receiving compliments from friends, family, and strangers alike. As it continues to grow it is crucial that you keep it organized, and this is where your trusty beard comb comes into play. We specifically designed our Live Bearded beard comb with wide teeth. This will allow for the comb to effortlessly glide through that thick beard of yours with ease while minimizing snags and breakage.

The Process:

When you start using your comb every morning, begin by starting under your beard and coming upward and outward, starting at your neck and working your way up to your chin and cheeks. This will separate all of the hairs so they appear fuller. Who doesn’t like a fuller beard? Once you’ve worked your way up to your cheeks and your entire beard has been brushed up to add fullness, simply comb the beard straight down to style your beard just the way you want it. You can hit the stache with a quick comb pulling the hairs out to the side away from your mouth and boom, you’re out the door in no time. Combing your beard regularly will give it a better shape, get you more compliments, and give you more confidence. PRO TIP: Here is a video showing you our suggested technique for added fullness:

I highly recommend carrying a beard comb on you at all times. I personally keep one at my desk, in my car, in my gym bag, among other places.
