"By changing nothing, nothing changes."

J.D. here, I'm the Director of Content Marketing at LB. That's me in the picture above. & I don't know about you, but in my opinion, there are few things better than sitting next to a campfire with friends and family. 

As we head into the new month I wanted to jump on here and share one of my favorite quotes for a little inspiration. Throughout my life, I've come to realize that the most difficult changes to make are usually the ones we most need to. And whenever I find myself in a situation where I know I need to make a tough decision, I remind myself of this quote by Tony Robbins:

"By changing nothing, nothing changes."

Often times we sit and fantasize about the things we desire in life. We entertain ourselves with ideas of grandeur, yet very seldomly do we take the action required to achieve these desires. Change can be hard so we tend to procrastinate until tomorrow, next week, or when ____ happens.

And the longer we wait to make the changes we know we need to make, the more out of reach they seem to become. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months (or years) and before we know it, the opportunities have passed us by and the change required seems impossible.

That's why I love this quote so much. It's simple, yet profound & reminds us that everything requires change. Is your fate determined by things beyond your control, or do you determine the course of your life through actions you choose to take? If you believe that you control the course of your life, you must believe that your decisions matter. If you want change (for your betterment) you can wait for outside forces to magically do it, or you can (and must) take action to make change happen.

Next time you face one of those big changes that make you uncomfortable, embrace it and face it head-on... Because you're capable of incredible things, all you have to do is face the changes and challenges with courageous action and there is nothing you cannot create, experience, and accomplish.
