Built By Brotherhood. Made Possible By You.
This week, we’re celebrating 10 years of Live Bearded.
And as we look back on the last decade, more than anything, we just feel grateful.
Grateful for the support. Grateful for the memories. Grateful for the brotherhood that believed in this mission, showed up for it, and helped make all of it possible.
Over the last 10 years, this brotherhood has helped us ship over 1 million orders. But what matters most to us is not the number.
It’s the men behind it.
It’s the friendships, the encouragement, the laughs, the support, and the shared belief that we can all keep showing up and doing better.
Because the truth is, Live Bearded has never just been about beard products.
From the beginning, this has been about building something bigger. A place where men can come together, support each other, celebrate the wins, learn from the losses, and keep pushing to be better every day.
So before we move into the next chapter, we wanted to take a minute to look back with you.
Not just at what’s happened over the last 10 years, but at the moments, the memories, and the brotherhood that made it all possible.
It Started With A Simple Mission
Back in 2016, Live Bearded was just two lifelong friends with a simple idea.
They wanted to build the kind of place they felt was missing. A place where men could show up as they are, take pride in who they are, and challenge each other to keep growing.
At the center of it all was a belief that still drives this brotherhood today. To do better every single day. To learn from failures. To grow through mistakes. To become the best man you can possibly be.
At the time, it was just Spence and Mink in a living room, packing envelopes by hand and doing whatever it took to get this thing off the ground.
No big audience. No guarantees. Just a mission they believed in, and a brotherhood that slowly started forming around it.
And through the years, though the brotherhood has gotten larger, I think Spencer's shorts have in fact gotten smaller.

Then The Brotherhood Started Showing Up
One of the first moments that really made this all feel real was our first birthday.
We celebrated by bringing a handful of brothers out to Maui to spend time with Anthony and Spencer in person. It was an amazing trip, but more than that, it showed us what this could become.
This was already becoming more than a company.
It was becoming a real community. Real men. Real friendships. Real connection.
Then came North Carolina, where we brought the brotherhood together on a bigger scale for the first time. A couple hundred men in a field, spending a few days together, building friendships, sharing stories, laughing, and just enjoying being around other good men.
That was one of those moments where you could really feel what Live Bearded was becoming.
This wasn’t just some company, this was a real deal brotherhood.

Some Of The Best Memories Came From Just Having Fun Together
One of the best parts of this journey has been finding ways to make it fun.
That is where our seasonal scents came from.
We wanted to give the brotherhood some fun and exciting variety. Something fresh to look forward to. Something that gave guys a reason to get excited and enjoy the ride with us.
And that opened the door to some of our favorite memories.
Pirates. Vikings. Astronauts. All kinds of wild ideas that gave us a chance to make cool stuff, laugh together, and not take ourselves too seriously.
That side of this brotherhood matters too.
Yes, the mission matters. Yes, the deeper purpose matters. But so does joy. So does laughter. So does creating something that makes guys feel like they are part of something fun.
A lot of those moments became special because the brotherhood made them special.

Brotherhood Means Showing Up For More Than Ourselves
As the years went on, one of the most meaningful parts of this journey was seeing how the brotherhood could make an impact beyond itself.
We’ve had the chance to support organizations like Feed A Billion. We launched Running With The Beards to help support Phoenix Children’s Hospital. We were part of the Vermont Beardies alongside Jonathan Goldsmith to help raise money for Make-A-Wish. We’ve also donated grooming supplies to deployed troops through Soldiers’ Angels, and we’re proud to support so many men serving overseas.
That part means a lot to us.
Because brotherhood is not just about having people in your corner. It's also about being the kind of men who show up for others.
That has always been part of what we hoped this would become. Not just a place where men could belong, but a place that could do some real good in the world because of the men who are part of it.

The Raptor Giveaway Said A Lot About This Brotherhood
A year and a half ago, we did one of the biggest giveaways we’ve ever done.
We gave one brother the chance to win a Raptor or take $80,000 in cash.
That was already going to be a life-changing moment for somebody. But what happened next made it mean even more.
The brother who won took the cash option because his community had recently been hit hard by a hurricane, and he wanted to use that money to help rebuild.
That moment stuck with all of us.
Because it said so much about the kind of men who make up this brotherhood.
Men who care about the people around them. Men who want to step up when it matters. Men who understand that when they’re in a position to help, they do it.
That is the kind of thing that reminds us what this has really always been about.

It Has Always Been About More Than The Beard
We’ve always believed that when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you do better.
There’s real power in confidence.
There’s real power in taking pride in yourself, in your routine, and in how you show up in the world.
That is part of why beard care matters to us. But even then, it was never only about the beard itself.
The beard is usually the starting point.
What we’ve always cared most about is the man behind it.
Helping men feel more confident, know that they belong, and that they’ve got a brotherhood in their corner.
That has always been the deeper mission.
10 Years Later, The Mission Still Feels The Same

When we look back on the last 10 years, there are a lot of moments we could talk about.
The trips. The events. The videos. The seasonal scents. The charity work. The giveaways. The laughs. The memories.
And all of those things matter.
But more than anything, what stands out is the brotherhood.
The men who have been part of this. The support that made it possible. The shared belief that we can all keep growing, keep learning, and keep striving to become better men.
That’s what Live Bearded was built on.
And 10 years later, that’s still what it stands for.

Thank you for the support. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for helping turn a simple idea into something so much bigger than any of us could have built alone.
Looking back on these last 10 years fills us with a lot of gratitude.
Grateful for what this brotherhood has been, and grateful for where it’s still going.
We’d love to hear from you too. Drop a comment and let us know your favorite memory from the brotherhood over the last decade.
Live Brave. Live Bold. Live Bearded.
