The Beards of the Round Table Take on the NFL, Winter, and One Angry Bug
Sometimes the conversation gets deep. Other times, it’s about a mosquito.
Either way, we’re back with another episode of Beards of the Round Table, where the beards are real, the opinions are strong, and the attention span is questionable at best.
What started as a normal chat about beard care turned into a full-blown battle against one very determined mosquito. It was us versus him, and let’s just say it got personal.
Between the chaos, we still managed to drop some solid beard wisdom every guy can use.
The Great NFL Beard Drought
We kicked things off talking about beards in the NFL, or more accurately, the lack of them.
For years, Ryan Fitzpatrick held the crown as the undisputed Beard GOAT, but since his retirement, the league’s been looking a little bare-faced.
We couldn’t help but throw out a challenge:
Come on, NFL. Where are the great beards at?
If you’re out there grinding through the season, toss the razor and bring back the power beard. The fans deserve it.
Beard Care in the Wild and the Winter
When we weren’t swatting at bugs, we got into some real beard care talk, especially how to handle your beard as the weather changes.
Dry air. Cold wind. Static.
Winter can wreck your beard if you don’t prep right.
Here’s the quick hit list from the roundtable:
-
Add more oil and butter: The cold air strips moisture faster than you think.
-
Nightcap is your secret weapon: It repairs damage while you sleep and keeps your beard soft.
-
Grow it out: A longer beard protects your skin from wind burn.
-
If it’s cold enough to freeze your beard, you’re doing life right.
The Most Underrated Beard Products
Everyone’s got their favorites, but we wanted to give some love to the underdogs.
-
Beard Boost: Legit results, thicker growth, and one of the biggest transformations in the game.
-
Nightcap: So good even Macho the dog couldn’t stop sniffing.
-
Deodorant: Not beard-related, but if you know, you know. It’s that good.
These aren’t the flashiest products, but they’re the ones that make your daily routine next-level.
Trolls, Truth, and the Bearded Brotherhood
No Live Bearded conversation is complete without addressing a few internet warriors.
You know the type: “Beards are makeup for men,” “You’re not a real lumberjack,” or our favorite, “Bet you can’t even change a tire.”
Let’s just say we can. And we did.
(There’s video proof.)
At the end of the day, a beard doesn’t make you manly. How you show up does.
But if your beard helps you feel more confident while you do it, that’s a win.
Final Thoughts
So what did we learn this week?
Beards take patience. Trolls need hobbies. And mosquitoes have zero respect for personal space.
Through all the laughs, it still comes down to one simple truth.
Take care of your beard. Take care of yourself.
And don’t take life too seriously.
