Hot Air Balloon Inferno

Welcome back for the 8th episode of The Beardsmen. This podcast is our opportunity to sit down with you all and answer any questions you may have, and just talk about the experience of being a man in the world today. As we say at the opening of each episode this is where we talk, mock, and never walk away from the conversation.

In this episode we discuss robots attacking a cyber truck, how Kodak and Blockbuster screwed up and became irrelevant, why time seems to go faster as we get older, and Spence talks about what it has been like to prepare to become a father.

This Week's Questions:

I’ve been thinking about starting my own business, but it feels like a daunting task. What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs on getting started and staying motivated?

With so much information out there, it’s hard to separate fact from fiction. How can men become more critical thinkers and make well-informed decisions in a world filled with misinformation?

As a blue-collar worker, how can I navigate career advancement and ensure I’m being recognized for my hard work and dedication?

Do Better Dude Of The Week

This week's Do Better Dude is an English teacher from Texas named Israel Alfaro. While driving to work one day he saw a pillar of smoke, and drove toward it to investigate. When he arrived he found a crashed hot-air balloon in flames, with one of the pilots stuck inside.

In moments like this it can be easy to do nothing, but Israel risked his own life to rush into the flames and pull the pilot out moments before the balloon exploded.

Hats off to you Israel Alfaro, your selfless actions that day saved a man's life and gave us all a shining example of what it means to Do Better.
